2.3 Other hazards
Exposure may aggravate pre-existing eye, skin, or respiratory conditions. Symptoms may be delayed. Different types of diisocyanates may cause cross sensitization, use proper precautions when working with any diisocyanate products. Do not use smell as a warning property of overexposure, isocyanates have poor warning properties as their odor thresholds are higher than exposure limits. Isocyanates react slowly with water, alcohols, amines, acids and bases. This product will react slowly with water to produce CO2 gas. Hazardous polymerization in the presence of incompatible materials may occur, resulting in the generation of heat. This product is the first part of a two part flooring system, when combined for end use as directed a controlled reaction takes place.
