Titanium Dioxide is classified by the IARC as a Group 2B Carcinogen (possible human carcinogen) by inhalation. The IARC also stated that no significant exposure to titanium dioxide is thought to occur during the use of products in which titanium dioxide is bound to other materials, such as in paints. The formulation of the toner has Titanium Dioxide in a bounded state so it does not present a carcinogenic risk.
