OSHA HCS 2012 EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: Dark brown granules with no noticeable odor. Causes moderate but temporary eye irritation.
Potential health effects
Eyes: Causes moderate eye irritation, including redness, tearing and itching. Skin: May cause mild skin irritation in the form of redness and itching. Inhalation: Inhalation of dust may cause mild irritation of the upper respiratory tract. Repeated inhalation of dust may lead to signs of manganese poisoning. See Section 11 for full information.
