SECTION 2: Hazards identification
In the tablet form this product has minimal potential health effects. Product is non-combustible and can react with acids or oxidizers to release carbon dioxide gas and heat. Direct contact with the powdered product causes irritation of the eyes and skin. Internal toxicity is low. INHALATION: Excessive levels of airborne dust may irritate the mucous membranes and the upper respiratory tract. SKIN: Continuous contact with the powdered product may cause red, dry, cracked skin. EYES: Direct contact with the powdered product causes irritation of the eyes.
