2.3 Other hazards
This article does not present any hazard for both humans and environment when handled properly. If subjected to mechanical stress, dust may develop due to abrasion. Dust may cause mechanical irritation. Basically, the raw material aramid is non-flammable. In case of fire hazardous decomposition products / gases / hot melt may be formed. The product does not meet the PBT or vPvB criteria set out in Annex XIII of Reach. (See section 12.5)
