2 through exposure under high-concentration environment or lasting exposure. © Flammability 0 Non-flammable © Reactivity 0 Stable under normal conditions © Special Hazard No No Acute toxicity:A daily intake of 400-800mg/kg selenium may cause acute toxicity. It may causes symptoms such as abnormal movements, morbid posture, gaseous distention, fast pulse, collapse and respiratory failure or even death. There are symptoms such as the first direct myocardial depression and peripheral vasodilatation induced refractory hypotension before most fatal poisoning death. Its characteristic symptoms are as following: sour smell or garlic smell in the breath, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, irritability, and excessive salivation and muscle spasms Chronic toxicity:daily intake 2400-3000mg selenium for several months may causes following diseases, such as baldness, fingernail fell off, yellowish discoloration of skin, bad breath, fatigue, increased susceptibility to dental caries and depression. Usually chronic selenium poisoning have dizziness, headache, fatigue, weakness, metallic taste in the mouth, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, respiratory and sweat garlic odor, but also have hepatomegaly, abnormal liver function, autonomic nervous system dysfunction, urinary selenium increased. So that children with long-term high selenium length, weight growth retardation, coarse hair fragile, and even neurological symptoms and intelligent change. The main feature of chronic selenium poisoning is to change the shape of the hair and nails
