The active ingredient THYMOL resembles phenol in its systemic actions but it is less toxic. 3.2 Eyes: Irritation of eyes with redness and pain. 3.3 Skin: Irritation of skin with redness and pain. 3.4 Inhalation: May cause severe and permanent damage to the digestive tract. Causes gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. Irritation of respiratory tract. 3.5 Ingestion: Abdominal pain with possible nausea, vomiting and occasional convulsions.
