Potential health effects
Eyes Contact with eyes can cause severe irritation. Ingestion Harmful if swallowed. Ingestion of this material may cause gastrointestinal effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramps and constipation. Ingestion of large quantities may cause reproductive and developmental abnormalities and adverse effects to the central nervous system, liver and kidneys. Inhalation No adverse effects are expected during normal conditions of use. Prolonged, repeated inhalation may cause irritation to the respiratory tract.
Health Effects - Skin
Contact with skin can cause irritation. Skin absorption of salicylic acid may enhance the symptoms of ingestion.
