Section 2

SECTION 2: Hazards identification

29 CFR 1910.1200) Physical State Liquid Color Brown Odor Slightly musty Emergency Overview/Warning OSHA/HCS Status This material is classified hazardous under OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200).

Other physicochemical hazards

Toxic vapors may be released during burning or thermal decomposition. Closed container may forcibly rupture under extreme heat or when contents have been contaminated with water. Use cold water spray to cool fire exposed containers to minimize the risk of rupture.

Health hazards

Harmful by inhalation. Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin. May cause sensitization by inhalation and skin contact. This product is respiratory irritant and potential respiratory sensitizer: repeated inhalation of vapor or aerosol at levels above the occupational exposure limit could cause respiratory sensitization. A hyper-reactive response to even minimal concentrations of MDI may develop in sensitized persons. The onset of the respiratory symptoms may be delayed for several hours after exposure. Lung damage and respiratory sensitization may be permanent.
