Potential health effects

The toxicological properties of this substance have not been fully investigated. When (Acute and Chronic): diluted with water,VF-77 T is not anticipated to pose a health hazard. Exercise caution, however, when working with the concentrated product (as supplied). All chemicals, regardless of concentration, should be handled with care and in manner that minimizes exposure. Inhalation: May be harmful if inhaled. Material may be irritating to mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract. May cause headaches, loss of appetite, nausea, fatigue, abdominal pain, dark urine and jaudice. May cause narcotics effects in high concentration. High concentrations may cause acute pulmonary edema. May cause lung damage. Skin Contact: May cause skin irritation. May cause skin rash (in milder cases), and cold and clammy skin with cyanosis or pale color. Eye Contact: Contact may cause transient eye irritation. May cause burning of eyes and flow of tears. May cause chemical conjunctivitis and corneal damage. Ingestion: May be harmful if swallowed. May cause gastrointestinal irritation and diarrhea. May cause irritation of the mucous membranes in the mouth, throat, esophagus, and stomach. May cause severe and permanent damage to the digestive tract.
