Precautionary statements
Wear rubber gloves and safety glasses when handling this product. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE (SKIN, EYE CONTACT; INHALATION; INGESTION) EYE CONTACT Exposure to dust will cause irritation, redness and tearing. Acute eye contact causes severe tissue destruction and blindness if not treated properly. INHALATION Exposure to dust will cause coughing and sneezing due to severe upper respiratory tract irritation. Alkalinity is corrosive to mucous membranes, resulting in tissue damage. INGESTION Causes severe burns to mucous membranes of the mouth, throat, esophagus, and stomach. SKIN CONTACT Will cause severe irritation, redness and burns. Long term exposure will cause dermatitis.
