Precautionary statements
Do not breathe dust. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Contaminated work clothing must not be allowed out of the workplace. Wear eye protection, protective gloves, protective clothing, respiratory protection. If swallowed: rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. If on skin (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. If inhaled: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a poison center or doctor. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Store locked up. Dispose of contents/container to hazardous or special waste collection point, in accordance with local, regional, national and/or international regulation.

Dusts from this product, when combined with water or sweat, produce a corrosive alkaline solution. Prolonged and/or massive inhalation of respirable crystalline silica dust may cause lung fibrosis, commonly referred to as silicosis. Principal symptoms of silicosis are cough and breathlessness.
