Potential Acute Health Effects
AND EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE INHALATION: Dust may cause irritation of nasal and respiratory tract. May cause coughing and shortness of breath. INGESTION: No known adverse effects, but ingestion not recommended. SKIN CONTACT: Not absorbed through the skin, but may cause irritations, as the product is abrasive in nature. EYES: Dust may cause irritation.
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure
Chronic respiratory disease may be aggravated by exposure to nuisance dust. Crystalline Silica Impurity may cause lung scarring which may lead to a progressive fibrosis and chronic lung injury (silicosis). IARC Class Carcinogenicity - 2A
