Potential Acute Health Effects
Eye Contact: Corrosive to eye tissue and may cause severe damage and blindness. Skin Contact: Causes severe skin irritation. Causes burns. Inhalation: Mists may cause irritation of upper respiratory tract. Coughing, shortness of breath, headaches and confusion may occur. Vapors may cause pulmonary edema. Ingestion: Corrosive! May cause severe pain in the mouth, chest and abdomen, leading to cough, vomiting and collapse. Causes vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea.
