2.1 Classification of the substance or mixture
Not applicable per US OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200), EU Classification, Labeling and Packaging (CLP) and the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling (GHS). Under normal use, when the integrity of the encapsulation remains intact, this product presents no identifiable chemical hazard. If the encapsulation is compromised, and sufficient mechanical energy is applied to the inner material (including cutting, ripping or tearing) potential health effects may result: Skin Contact: May cause mechanical irritation Eye Contact: May cause eye irritation. Inhalation: Inhalation of dust may cause respiratory tract (nose, throat, lungs) irritation.
