Potential health effects
Eyes May cause severe irritation. Highly reactive to water. Bonds in seconds. During period of eye contamination double vision may occur. Cyanoacrylates attach to eye proteins and will disassociate from them over intermittent periods. Weeping will occur until clearance is achieved. Ingestion Unlikely exposure route due to rapid polymerization. Bonds in seconds to oral tissues. Saliva will lift adhesive in one half to two days. Inhalation May cause contact sensitization and upper respiratory tract irritation.
