OSHA EMERGENCY OVERVIEW This product consists of one layer of polystyrene beads layered between two sheets of polyethylene film. No adverse effects are expected when handling this product under normal use conditions. This product may release dust particles when it is cut, causing eye and/or upper respiratory tract irritation.
Principle Routes of Exposure
Eye, inhalation INGESTION: No adverse effects expected from swallowing small amounts. Large amounts may cause intestinal obstruction. INHALATION: No adverse effects expected from normal use conditions. Dust generated from cutting may cause irritation of the nose or throat and coughing. EYE: Dust may cause mechanical eye irritation. SKIN: Dust from cutting may cause slight irritation in sensitive individuals.
