SECTION 2: Hazards identification
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW Troysol™ AFP is a fine white powder with minimal odor. May cause moderate to severe eye irritation and moderate skin irritation. Inhalation of excessive quantities may cause respiratory irritation. Minute amounts of hydrocarbons aspirated into the lungs during ingestion or vomiting may cause lung damage. ROUTES OF ENTRY Ingestion, skin contact, eyes, inhalation INGESTION Single dose oral toxicity is low. Swallowing small amounts during normal handling is not likely to cause harmful effects. Ingestion of excessive quantities may cause gastrointestinal irritation (nausea and diarrhea) and intestinal obstruction. Minute amounts of hydrocarbons aspirated into the lungs during ingestion or vomiting may cause lung damage. SKIN Direct contact may cause moderate skin irritation. May aggravate existing dermatitis. EYE CONTACT Direct contact may cause moderate to severe eye irritation. INHALATION Inhalation of excessive quantities may cause respiratory irritation.
