Prevention

Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Avoid breathing fume, gas, mist, vapors, or spray. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Ground and bond container and receiving equipment. Use explosion-proof electrical, ventilating, lighting equipment. Use non-sparking tools. Take action to prevent static discharges. Avoid release to the environment. Keep out of reach of children. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.

Response

IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. Rinse mouth. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water [or shower]. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Take off contaminated clothing. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. In case of fire: Use dry chemical, foam or water mist to extinguish.

Storage

Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking.
