SECTION 2: Hazards identification

2.3 Other hazards

Not hazardous under normal use. Do not disassemble, open or short-circuit the Li-ion battery. Exposure to the substances in the product may be harmful. The substances in the products are sealed in the battery. Exposure risks only occur when the battery has been mechanically, thermally or electrically damaged to such an extent that the battery has been punctured. If this occurs, exposure to the electrolyte solution may occur by inhalation, ingestion, eye contact and skin contact.

2.1 Classification of the substance or mixture

This product are classified as Articles under REACH and are not subject to the requirements for Information in the Supply Chain (Safety Data Sheets and Labels). While batteries may release hazardous substances if damaged, this is not an intended release as defined under REACH. Batteries are not classified as hazardous under the CLP.
