Ingestion may cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Causes skin irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Inhalation of vapors in high concentration may cause irritation of respiratory system. Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Incomplete combustion and thermolysis may produce gases of varying toxicity such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, various hydrocarbons, aldehydes and soot. These may be highly dangerous if inhaled in confined spaces or at high concentration.

Prevention

IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing • Call a POISON CENTER/doctor if you feel unwell • If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention • IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/ shower • Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse • IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor • Do NOT induce vomiting • In case of fire: Use CO2, dry chemical or foam to extinguish • Collect spillage
