2.1 Classification of the substance or mixture
In compliance with directives 67/548/EEC, 1999/45/EC and their amendments. In contact with water or damp air, releases highly flammable gases in dangerous quantities at a minimum rate of 1 litre/kg/hr. Flammable. May become hot and finally catch fire in contact with air at ambient temperature without any input of energy. Possibility of skin sensitisation. The mixture may also irritate the skin and prolonged contact may aggravate this effect. Possibility of irritation to the eyes and skin. Harmful to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.
