OSHA EMERGENCY OVERVIEW

Appearance/Odor

Light amber, low viscosity liquid; mild petroleum odor.

Health hazards

CAUTION! May cause eye and skin irritation. May be harmful if swallowed. Aspiration hazard if swallowed – can enter lungs and cause damage. Safety Hazards WARNING! Slipping hazard if spilled. (See Section 11 for more information)

Principle Routes of Exposure

Eye, skin and inhalation. Inhalation This product is not expected to pose an inhalation risk where exposure limits are observed. Heating or mechanical agitation may generate vapors or mists that can be irritating to respiratory passages. Ingestion Swallowing can cause nausea, diarrhea and vomiting. Vomiting may result in aspiration into the lungs with a risk of chemical pneumonitis. Skin Contact May cause skin irritation. Prolonged and repeated contact can de-fat skin, which may result in dryness, redness, itching and cracking (dermatitis). Eye Contact May cause eye irritation, resulting in redness or burning.

Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure

None known. Target Organs None known under normal conditions of handling and use. Repeated exposure to high levels may produce liver and kidney damage.

Spillages may be slippery. Do not walk through spilled material.

See Section 12 for more information) Analysis for ecological effects has not been conducted on this product. However, if spilled, plants and animals may experience harmful effects when coated with petroleum-based products.
