Principle Routes of Exposure
X Eye X Skin Contact X Skin Absorption X Inhalation X Ingestion EFFECTS OF ACUTE EXPOSURE EYES: May cause severe eye irritation. Symptoms may include pain, tearing, redness, and clouding of the eye surface. SKIN: May cause skin irritation. Symptoms may include redness, rash and mild swelling. INHALATION: High concentrations of vapor or mist may cause nose, throat, and respiratory tract irritation. Symptoms may include coughing and a burning sensation in the nose and throat and a disagreeable metallic taste. INGESTION: Harmful if swallowed. May cause mouth, throat and stomach burns. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and severe stomach pain. May also cause central nervous system effects including headache, dizziness and weakness. EFFECTS OF CHRONIC EXPOSURE: Prolonged contact may cause severe skin irritation. Symptoms may include pain, redness, rash, and swelling.
