Principle Routes of Exposure
X Eye X Skin Contact Skin Absorption X Inhalation X Ingestion EFFECTS OF ACUTE EXPOSURE EYES: Non-irritating to the eyes, but may cause temporary redness or discomfort. SKIN: Non-irritating to the skin. INHALATION: High concentrations of vapor or mist may cause nose, throat and respiratory tract irritation. Symptoms may include coughing. INGESTION: May be harmful if swallowed. May cause mild mouth, throat and stomach irritation. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. May cause central nervous system effects including dizziness, weakness and tremors. May also cause cardiovascular effects including irregular heart beat and low blood pressure as well as impaired kidney function. EFFECTS OF CHRONIC EXPOSURE: Prolonged or repeated contact may cause skin irritation. Prolonged ingestion may cause kidney damage and reduced thyroid function.
