2.3 Other hazards
The products covered by this data sheet are based on continuous filament fibres made from boro-silicate E Glass. The filament diameters are uniform and are well above the maximum size considered respirable (approx. 3 micron). They will not sub-divide into fibrils of smaller diameter. The fibres contain small amounts of complex organic surface dressings (e.g. starch based and PVA compounds). The fabrics are treated with a Firefly complex, coloured pigment and binder.
