SECTION 2: Hazards identification
OSHA Hazards Emergency Overview The dry product mix poses no immediate hazard. A single short term exposure to dry product is unlikely to cause serious harm. However, exposure of sufficient duration to wet product can cause serious, potentially irreversible tissue (eye or skin) destruction in the form of chemical (caustic) burns. The same type of damage can occur if the wet or moist areas of the body are exposed for sufficient duration. Warning! Harmful if inhaled. Overexposure by inhalation may induce delayed, irreversible upper respiratory injury (silicosis.) This product is considered hazardous by OSHA Hazard Communication Standard. See section 11 notes. Product does not pose a fire hazard.
