As manufactured, this product is considered non-hazardous. Caution: product will form combustible dust and particulate matter during drilling, grinding, cutting or sanding operations. Carbon fiber is electrically conductive.
2.1 Classification of the substance or mixture
This product meets the definition of “article” under 29cfr1910-1200(c). A manufactured item (i) which is formed to a specific shape or design during its manufacture; (ii) which has end function(s) dependent in whole or part upon its shape or design during end use; and (iii) which under normal conditions of use does not release more than very small quantities of hazardous chemicals, and does not pose a physical hazard or health risk.
