Emergency overview DANGER! TOXIC. May be harmful if swallowed. Gas, vapor, mist, or dust concentrations may be harmful if inhaled. May cause sensitization by inhalation and skin contact.
Potential health effects
Eyes This product is severely irritating to the eyes. Symptoms may include stinging, tearing, redness, swelling, and blurred vision. Eye contact may result in corneal injury. Skin Contains a potential skin sensitizer. Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause skin irritation or allergic skin sensitization reaction. Inhalation Gas, vapor, mist, or dust concentrations may be harmful if inhaled. Vapors may be irritating and cause chest discomfort and symptoms of bronchitis. Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause lung injury. Vapors may irritate mucous membranes. Overexposure may lead to bronchitis, bronchial spasm and pulmonary edema (fluid in lungs). The effects are usualy reversible. Prolonged or repeated overexposure to isocyanates has been reported to cause lung damage which may be permanent. Ingestion This product may produce corrosive damage to the gastrointestinal tract if it is swallowed. Ingestion can cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
