space Emergency overview FLAMMABLE CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE. Aerosol. Will be easily ignited by heat, spark or flames. Contact with this material can cause irritation to the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. May be harmful if absorbed through skin. Prolonged exposure may cause chronic effects. Inhalation of vapors in high concentration can cause narcotic effects and metabolic acidosis. space
Principle Routes of Exposure
Skin contact. Ingestion. Inhalation. Eye contact. space Eyes Health injuries are not known or expected under normal use. Contact may irritate or burn eyes. space Skin Harmful in contact with skin. Prolonged or repeated contact can result in defatting and drying of the skin which may result in skin irritation and dermatitis (rash). space Inhalation Intentional misuse by concentrating and inhaling the product can be harmful or fatal. Inhalation of aerosol may cause irritation to the upper respiratory tract. Headaches, dizziness, nausea, decreased blood pressure, changes in heart rate, and cyanosis may result from overexposure to vapor or skin exposure. High concentrations in immediate area can displace oxygen and can cause dizziness, unconsciousness, and even death with longer exposure. space Ingestion Exposure by ingestion of an aerosol is unlikely. Components of the product may be absorbed into the body by ingestion. Ingestion may cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Risk of serious damage to the lungs (by aspiration). space Target organs 2-Butoxy ethanol may be absorbed through the skin in toxic amounts if contact is repeated and prolonged and may cause blood damage. These effects have not been observed in humans. Blood. Central nervous system. space
Potential chronic health
Unconsciousness. May cause central nervous system disorder (e.g., narcosis involving a loss of coordination, weakness, fatigue, mental confusion, and blurred vision) and/or damage. None known. space Signs and symptoms Narcosis. Cyanosis. .
