FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES Water stream or water fog, to cool containers to prevent vapor formation and ignition. Water stream may spread fire, fog nozzles are preferred if water is used. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS Material is stable unless heated over 250o F generating possible combustible vapors. Heated vapors can produce combustible and explosive toxic fumes. Mists/spray can burn at temperature below flash point. Containers may rupture from gas generation in a fire. Oxides of Carbon, Nitrogen, and Boron may be formed.
