SECTION 2: Hazards identification
Identification: CYCLOHEXANE EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE LIQUID & VAPOR. Can accumulate static charge. Vapor is heavier than air and may spread long distances and accumulate in low-lying areas. Distant ignition and flashback are possible. Liquid can float on water and may travel to distant locations and/or spread fire. Mild central nervous system depressant. High vapor concentrations may cause headache, nausea, dizziness and drowsiness. SKIN IRRITANT. Causes moderate skin irritation. Aspiration hazard. Swallowing or vomiting of the liquid may cause aspiration into the lungs. CARBON DI SULFIDE EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE LIQUID AND VAPOR. Forms explosive mixtures with air over a wide concentration range. Flame is nearly invisible. Liquid can accumulate static charge by flow, splashing or agitation. Vapor can be ignited by a static charge and is heavier than air and may spread long distances. Distant ignition and flash back are possible. Can decompose at high temperatures forming toxic carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and irritating/toxic sulfur oxides. TOXIC. Harmful if inhaled. Causes nervous system damage. Can cause headache, dizziness, fatigue, excitement or depression. High concentrations can cause serious psychological disturbances. Long-term exposure may damage to the nervous system of the extremities (the hands, arms, legs and feet), with symptoms such as numbness, tingling and irregular gait. TERATOGEN/EMBRYOTOXIN - may harm the unborn child, based on animal information. GHS LABELING SYMBOLS:
