Environmental effects
Contains a substance (Dilaurate de dibutyletain) classified As dangerous for the environment.
Other physicochemical hazards
Combustible liquid. Explosive vapour/air mixtures may be formed above 110°C. According to EC criteria, this product is not classified as an IRRITANT Classification/Specific hazards: FIRST AID Inhalation. Move the affected person away from the contaminated area and into the, fresh air. If necessary sock medical advice. Skin contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing or footwear. Wipe off as much as possible (using a clean, soft, absorbent material). Wash immediately with plenty of soap and water. Eye contact: Immediately rinse with water for a prolonged period whilst keeping the eyes wide open. If irritation persists. Consult an eye specialist immediately, even if there are no visible injuries. Ingestion: NEVER attempt to induce vomiting. Consult doctor if necessary. FIRE - FIGHTING MEASURES Extinguishing media - Suitable: Alcohol –resistant foam. Powders. Carbon dioxide (CO2). Not suitable. Strong water jet. Specific hazards - Combustible liquid. During combustion: Toxic and highly flammable gases are released (explosion hazard). Hazardous dust is released. Specific fire fighting methods: Do not breathe fumes. Contain the spread of extinguishing fluids (this product may be hazardous for the environment.) Cool down the containers/equipment exposed to heat with a water spray. . Protection of fire-fighters: Self-contained breathing apparatus. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Personal precautions - Do NOT attempt to take action WITHOUT suitable protective equipment. For further information refer to section 8 “Exposure-controls/personal protection”. Mechanically ventilate the spillage area. Turn leaking containers leak-side up to prevent the escape of liquid. Do NOT discharge into drains or rivers. Environmental precautions - Prevent the product from spreading into the environment. . Methods for cleaning up - Recovery Collect up the product and place it in a spare container - suitably labeled and tightly closed. Keep the recovered product for subsequent disposal. Neutralisation: Neutralize non-recoverable product with - dry sand or dry inert absorbent Cleaning/Decontamination: Decontaminate and wash the floor with: - an appropriate solvent. Then wash with plenty of water.
Disposal
Incinerate contaminated materials at an authorized installation. HANDLING AND STORAGE HANDLING - Technical measures: Ventilation. Measures: Avoid contact with moisture/humidity. Safe handling advice: Comply with instructions for use.
Storage
Technical measures: Does not require any specific or particular technical measures. Storage conditions: Recommended: Store the container tightly closed and dry. To be avoided: Store away from incompatible materials. Incompatible products: Strong oxidizing agents. Packaging: Steel drums varnished with epikote. Tin drums varnished with epikote. (cardboard outer- packaging) Plastic bottles. Packaging materials: Recommended: Coated steels. Plastic materials (polyethylene, polypropylene).
