2.3 Other hazards
Melt is easily flammable. In case of fire, very toxic, highly irritant and asphyxiating, sulphur dioxide (SO2) containing gases may develop (risk for development of pulmonary edema). In exceptional cases, hydrogen sulphide (H2S), an extremely toxic and flammable gas may be formed through reduction of the oxidation product SO2.
