Summary of risks: No known acute or chronic health hazards have been attributed to exposures to this product. Cancer statement: - Sand surfaced versions of this product contain quartz (crystalline silica). Respirable crystalline silica has been classified by IARC as a group 2a probable carcinogen. It has not been classified as a carcinogen by OSHA or NTP.
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure
The asphaltic odors or vapors from this product may irritate pre-existing upper respiratory or petrochemically sensitized conditions. Effects of overexposure: - Extreme exposures may result in irritation of the nose and/or throat.
Potential Acute Health Effects
Product can be a mechanical irritant to the skin and eyes. Vapors may irritate the upper respiratory system.
Potential chronic health
No chronic health effects have been observed.
