2.3 Other hazards
This mixture does not contain any REACH registered substances that are assessed to be a PBT or a vPvB. Moderately irritating to eyes. Slightly irritating to respiratory system. Liquid evaporates quickly and can ignite leading to a flash fire, or an explosion in a confined space. A component or components of this material may cause cancer. This product contains benzene which may cause leukaemia (AML - acute myelogenous leukaemia). This material is a static accumulator. Even with proper grounding and bonding, this material can still accumulate an electrostatic charge. If sufficient charge is allowed to accumulate, electrostatic discharge and ignition of flammable air- vapour mixtures can occur. May cause MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndrome). Ether oxygenates are significantly more water soluble and less biodegradable than benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and xylenes (BTEX)
