Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 Classification of the substance or mixture
Signal word
Danger
Physical hazards
H220 Extremely flammable gas. H280 Contains gas under pressure; may explode if heated.
Health hazards
H336 May cause drowsiness or dizziness.
Environmental hazards
Not classified as environmental hazard according to CLP criteria.
Prevention
P210 Keep away from heat/ sparks/ open flames/ hot surfac- es. No smoking. P243 Take precautionary measures against static discharge. P261 Avoid breathing dust/ fume/ gas/ mist/ vapours/ spray.
Response
P377 Leaking gas fire: Do not extinguish, unless leak can be stopped safely. P381 Eliminate all ignition sources if safe to do so. P304 + P340 IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing.
Storage
P410 + P403 Protect from sunlight. Store in a well-ventilated place.
Disposal
P501 Dispose of contents/ container to an approved waste disposal plant.
2.3 Other hazards
The substance does not fulfill all screening criteria for persistence, bioaccumulation and toxicity and hence is not considered to be PBT or vPvB.
ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
The substance/mixture does not contain components considered to have endocrine disrupting properties according to REACH Article 57(f) or Commission Delegated regu- lation (EU) 2017/2100 or Commission Regulation (EU) 2018/605 at levels of 0.1% or higher.
TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
The substance/mixture does not contain components considered to have endocrine disrupting properties according to REACH Article 57(f) or Commission Delegated regulation (EU) 2017/2100 or Commission Regulation (EU) 2018/605 at levels of 0.1% or higher. May form flammable/explosive vapour-air mixture. This material is a static accumulator. Even with proper grounding and bonding, this material can still accumulate an electrostatic charge. If sufficient charge is allowed to accumulate, electrostatic discharge and ignition of flammable air- vapour mixtures can occur. This material is shipped under pressure. High gas concentrations will displace available air; unconsciousness and death may occur sud- denly from lack of oxygen. Rapid release of gases which are liquids under pressure may cause frost burns of exposed tis- sues (skin, eye) due to evaporative cooling.
2.1 Classification of the substance or mixture
Classification (REGULATION (EC) No 1272/2008) Flammable gases, Category 1A H220: Extremely flammable gas. Gases under pressure, Compressed gas H280: Contains gas under pressure; may explode if heated. Specific target organ toxicity - single ex- H336: May cause drowsiness or dizziness. posure, Category 3, Narcotic effects
