Disposal
P501 Dispose of contents and container to appropriate waste site or reclaimer in accordance with local and national regula- tions.
Other hazards which do not result in classification
Liquid evaporates quickly and can ignite leading to a flash fire, or an explosion in a confined space. This material is a static accumulator. Even with proper grounding and bonding, this material can still accumulate an electrostatic charge. If sufficient charge is allowed to accumulate, electrostatic discharge and ignition of flammable air- vapour mixtures can occur. Electrostatic charges may be generated during pumping. Electrostatic discharge may cause fire. This product contains tetraethyl lead which is known to accumulate in the human body. There are indications from human epidemiological studies that exposure to tetraethyl lead may cause de- velopmental and neurobehavioral effects in the unborn child. Possibility of organ or organ system damage from prolonged exposure; see Chapter 11 for de- tails. Target organ(s): Blood forming organs Peripheral nervous system
