Potential health effects
Adverse reproductive effects have been reported in animals. (Acute and Chronic): Chronic: Inhalation: Causes respiratory tract irritation. Can produce delayed pulmonary edema. May cause acute pulmonary edema, asphyxia, chemical pneumonitis, and upper airway obstruction caused by edema. Skin Contact: Causes skin irritation. May be harmful if absorbed through the skin. Eye Contact: Lachrymator (substance which increases the flow of tears). May cause conjunctivitis. May cause permanent corneal opacification. Ingestion: May cause irritation of the digestive tract. May be harmful if swallowed. May cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, possibly with blood.
