Eye exposure may cause severe and permanent eye injury (blindness). Skin: Severely corrosive to the skin. Causes severe burns. The amount of tissue damage depends on length of contact. Skin inflammation is characterized by itching, scaling, reddening or, occasionally, blistering. Inhalation: May give off gas, vapor or dust that is very irritating or corrosive to the respiratory system. Inhalation of the spray or mist may produce severe irritation of respiratory tract, characterized by coughing, choking or shortness of breath. Ingestion: Toxic if swallowed. May cause burns to mouth, throat and stomach. May be fatal is swallowed.
