Xn; Harmful R40-48/20: Limited evidence of a carcinogenic effect. Harmful: danger of serious damage to health by prolonged exposure through inhalation. Xi; Irritant R38: Irritating to skin. Xi; Sensitising R43: May cause sensitisation by skin contact. E; Explosive R3: Extreme risk of explosion by shock, friction, fire or other sources of ignition. N; Dangerous for the environment R51/53: Toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. R33: Danger of cumulative effects. · Information concerning particular hazards for human and environment: WARNING! THIS DEVICE CONTAINS AN EXPLOSIVE CHARGE. KEEP AWAY FROM FIRE AND HEAT SOURCES. DO NOT SUBJECT TO MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL SHOCK. THIS PRODUCT SHOULD ONLY BE DEPLOYED BY PERSONNEL TRAINED IN ITS PROPER USE. AS WITH ALL MUNITIONS, SHRAPNEL MAY BE EXPELLED FROM PRODUCT DURING NON-CONTROLLED IGNITION, SUCH AS FIRES. Individual cartridges may ignite if the unit is exposed to extreme heat. Oxides of Nitrogen, Carbon, and Sulfur may be formed. Chemicals in unused product pose no exposure hazards; small amounts of metal oxides and metal fumes are generated during deployment; the hazards from single exposures are generally slight. Product ejects non-lethal projectile(s) during deployment. The product has to be labelled due to the calculation procedure of the "General Classification guideline for preparations of the EU" in the latest valid version. Individual cartridges may ignite and burn if the unit is exposed to excess heat. Individual cartridges may explode under confinement. Product is not a mass explosion hazard.

Classification system

The classification is according to the latest editions of the EU-lists, and extended by company and literature data. (Contd. of page 2) The classification is in accordance with the latest editions of international substances lists, and is supplemented by information from technical literature and by information provided by the company.
