First Aid Measures Eyes Flush immediately with water for 15 minutes. Consult a physician if irritation persists Skin Wash affected area with soap and water. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Inhalation Remove subject to fresh air. 4. Personal Protective Equipment Eyes Wear chemical safety goggles to reduce the potential for eye contact. Eye wash station should be available. Skin Use impermeable chemical gloves and wear appropriate protective clothing. Respiratory Respiratory protection is not normally required. Use NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator if conditions warrant. Ventilation Standard industrial ventilation is recommended. 5. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and full firefighting turnout gear. Containers exposed in a fire should be cooled with water to prevent vapor pressure buildup leading to a rupture. Large spills Product should be diked to prevent further movement. Reclaim into recovery or salvage drums for disposal.

Disposal

This product does not meet the definition of hazardous waste under the U.S. EPA Hazardous Waste Regulations 40 CFR 261. Consult you state or local authorities for proper disposal in the event more restrictive requirements apply. 7. Handling and Storage Handling Containers retain residual product residues; follow all hazard precautions contained within this MSDS.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry, ventilated area. Keep containers closed when not in use. Do not store near extreme heat, open flame, or sources of ignition. Protect from freezing – product stability may be affected. 8.
