OSHA EFFECTS FROM ACUTE EXPOSURE: INGESTION: Causes irritation of the stomach and intestines, resulting in nausea and/or vomiting. Aspiration of ingested or vomited liquid into the lungs may cause chemical pneumonia, which can be fatal. Harmful if swallowed. SKIN CONTACT: Causes skin burns which may not be immediately painful or visible. Repeated or prolonged contact may cause skin sensitization. INHALATION: May cause kidney effects.
