2.1 Classification of the substance or mixture

This product is not classified as hazardous under GHS criteria. This product contains low levels of zinc oxide. Excessive Zinc has adversely affected fertility and pregnancy in rats. Low levels of zinc do not appear to be a problem. Pregnant women given zinc supplements, up to 81 mg/day during their final 3 months of pregnancy, have shown no adverse effects.
