SECTION 2: Hazards identification
C Corrosive. Severe to moderate irritant. May cause damage to eyes and mucus membranes and lungs. Contact with acids liberates toxic Chlorine gas. EYES : Extremely corrosive. Severe burns and permanent damage to eye tissue. SKIN : Prolonged exposure will cause severe burns and permanent skin damage. INGESTION : Will cause burns and internal damage to the digestive tract. INHALATION : Severe burns and damage to the respiratory tract. Will cause coughing and choking.
