Special rules for supplemental label elements for certain mixtures
USA NIOSH approved / Canada CSA-Z94.4-93 approved: Respirators should be used if dust / fume is present. A respiratory protection program should be implemented if exposure exceeds the American Conference of Govermantal Industrial Hygenists (ACGIH) defined Time Weighted Average (TWA) For used Product: High heat with alkaline chemicals may convert some of the trivalent chrome (Cr III) to hexavalent chrom (Cr VI). Some Cr VI compounds are mutagens and carcinogens.
Disposal
Test used products prior to disposal for the concentration of leachable chrome. Follow all federal, state and local regulations for diposal

2.3 Other hazards
Under oxidising alkaline conditions the chromium(III) compounds may form minor amounts of chromium(VI) compounds. Chromium (VI) compounds are known to cause injury to the skin and respiratory tract wich may lead to cancer. See section 11
