SECTION 2: Hazards identification

a) Classification of the hazardous Acute Toxicity - Dermal Category 1 product, namely the appropriate Carcinogenicity Category 1B category or subcategory of the hazard Flammable Liquid Category 2 class identified in Subparts 2 to 19 of Germ Cell Mutagenicity Category 2 Part 7 or Subparts 1 to 11 of Part 8, or a name that is its substantive equivalent, or for Subpart 20 of Part 7 and Subpart 12 of Part 8, the category of the hazard class or a description of the identified (b) Information elements referred to in section 3 of Annex 3 of the GHS and in paragraphs 3(1)(d) to (f) of these Regulations for each of those categories or subcategories. If the required information element is a symbol, either the name of the symbol or the symbol itself may be used:

Prevention

Obtain special instructions before use. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Ground/bond container and receiving equipment. Use explosion-proof [electrical/ventilating/lighting] equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.

Response

If on skin: Wash with plenty of water. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. IF exposed or concerned: Get medical advice/ attention. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor. Specific treatment (see on this label). Take off immediately all contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. In case of fire: Use to extinguish.

Storage

Keep container tightly closed. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool. Store locked up.

Disposal

Dispose of contents/container to a suitable disposal site in accordance with local/national/international regulations.
