SECTION 2: Hazards identification

a) Classification of the hazardous Skin Sensitisation Category 1 product, namely the appropriate Specific Target Organ Systemic Toxicity (STOT) - Single Exposure Category 1 category or subcategory of the hazard Flammable Liquid Category 2 class identified in Subparts 2 to 19 of Carcinogenicity Category 2 Part 7 or Subparts 1 to 11 of Part 8, or a Acute Toxicity - Dermal Category 3 name that is its substantive equivalent, Acute Toxicity - Oral Category 3 or for Subpart 20 of Part 7 and Subpart 12 of Part 8, the category of the hazard class or a description of the identified (b) Information elements referred to in section 3 of Annex 3 of the GHS and in paragraphs 3(1)(d) to (f) of these Regulations for each of those categories or subcategories. If the required information element is a symbol, either the name of the symbol or the symbol itself may be used:

Prevention

Obtain special instructions before use. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Ground/bond container and receiving equipment. Use explosion-proof [electrical/ventilating/lighting] equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.

Response

IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor. If on skin: Wash with plenty of water. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. IF exposed or concerned: Call a POISON CENTER/doctor. IF exposed or concerned: Get medical advice/ attention. Call a POISON CENTER/doctor if you feel unwell. Specific treatment (see on this label). Rinse mouth. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. In case of fire: Use to extinguish.

Storage

Keep container tightly closed. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool. Store locked up.

Disposal

Dispose of contents/container to a suitable disposal site in accordance with local/national/international regulations.
