SECTION 2: Hazards identification
Harmful by inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed. Causes burns. Risk of serious damage to eyes. May cause sensitization by skin contact. Harmful to aquatic organisms, may cause long term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Signs and Symptoms of Exposure (Acute Effects) Contact of product with the eyes or skin quickly causes severe irritation and may cause burns narcosis and permanent injury. Inhalation of vapours may severely damage tissue and produce scarring. Vapour in low concentrations can cause lacrimation conjunctivitis and corneal edema when absorbed into the tissue of the eye. Inhalation of vapours may cause irritation in the respiratory tract coughing and chest pain may result.
