Prevention
Wear protective gloves >8 hours (breakthrough time) Butyl rubber or Teflon. Replace damaged gloves.; <1 hours (breakthrough time): Nitril rubber, natural rubber (latex), neoprene, polyethylene, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), PVC (these materials may degrade). Wear eye or face protection. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces. - No smoking. Use explosion-proof electrical, ventilating, lighting and all material-handling equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Keep container tightly closed. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Avoid breathing vapour. Response
IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Call a POISON CENTER or physician if you feel unwell. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water or shower. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical attention. Supplement Statements: EUH 066 Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.
